“Emotional competence is the single most important personal quality that each of us must develop and access to experience a breakthrough. Only through managing our emotions can we access our intellect and our technical competence. An emotionally competent person performs better under pressure.”

Our Approach

To support communities, schools, and teens, Prismatic is aligning with crucial aspects of CPS's Healing-Centered Framework (HCF) throughout all of our programming. During these years of uncertainty, we know just how important it is to rebuild supportive classrooms that cultivate community and foster belonging.

Our Programs

IGNITE

Remind your students that their voice matters.

Our IGNITE program serves high school students in part- and full-year enrichment programs. We're committed to ensuring every student feels a sense of belonging + ownership over their future. We do this by bringing student-centered leadership and career mentorship programs to teens—empowering them to rise into their futures and thrive as leaders.

Students engage in meaningful conversations about their personal strengths, missions, and potential to create change in their communities. Whether your teens are struggling to find their voice or trying to plot out their next steps in life, IGNITE will offer students a space to develop their purpose, build 21st-century career skills, discover their identity, and strengthen their social-emotional competencies.

Young Changemakers

Spark inspiration in your students.

Young Changemakers is an 8-week SEL-based leadership program empowering middle school students to develop their purpose, build 21st-century career skills, discover their identity, and strengthen their social-emotional competencies.

Through weekly 60-minute workshops, Prismatic students define their unique mission, vision, and purpose and then, with the help of guest speakers and mentors, explore strategies for creating meaningful change in their communities and schools. Students leave our program feeling a sense of belonging with their peers + a feeling of ownership over their future.
