Reflecting on Prismatic’s Contribution to the BOLD Initiative Program
The BOLD initiative, funded by the U.S. Embassy and spearheaded by professionals in Belgrade, Serbia, recently featured a significant contribution from Prismatic. This four-day program, aimed at young adults, primarily college students, emphasized the development of leadership skills and the nurturing of social impact projects.
An Inside Look at Prismatic’s Involvement
Debra Giunta, representing Prismatic, journeyed to Belgrade, bringing a wealth of knowledge in leadership and Emotional Intelligence (EQ). Her presence was more than instructional; it was inspirational, catalyzing students to transform ideas into actions. This cross-cultural exchange wasn't just about skill development but about building bridges of understanding and collaboration.
Prismatic's involvement was a pivotal element of the initiative. It offered specialized leadership and Emotional Intelligence (EQ) training to equip the participants with essential skills to bring their project ideas to life.
Partnership Outcomes
One notable outcome of this collaboration is the "Lunch Pass" project in Belgrade, which addresses the critical need for nutritious meals among young people. The "Lunch Pass" project developed a plan to integrate healthy eating habits into school diets to make a tangible difference in the community
Looking ahead, more projects are blossoming. "Eco Breath" in Novi Pazar is a green initiative with tree-planting efforts to enhance city parks. Meanwhile, "Vrh" and "Kude u majanje" are gearing up to unveil their unique contributions, from eco-tourism to institutional promotion.
However, not all journeys are smooth. Challenges, such as the withdrawal of a team, are inevitable. Yet, these are opportunities in disguise, prompting a strategic reallocation of resources and a rethinking of goals. The flexibility and resilience shown here are core leadership traits.
