WHAT IS SCHEDULING4SUCCESS?

Scheduling4Success provides personalized class schedules for students with disabilities so they can reach their academic dreams. By working with colleges, the team aspires to adapt disabled students’ course schedules to reduce mobility and accessibility challenges.

WHAT DOES THE RESEARCH SAY?

Based on a Disability Survey conducted by Cornell University in 2018, more than 20 million individuals in the United States, or 6.8% of the population had an ambulatory disability. Of the 107,000 college-aged students with ambulatory disabilities, only 34.8% go on to graduate high school, with an even smaller 12.5% graduating college.

One of the biggest barriers students in both the U.S. and Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) face in receiving a college education, is the uneven pavements, lack of elevators, inaccessible entrances, and limited time to move between classes. 70% of disabled individuals reduce day-to-day travel due to disabilities.
