Weekly programs

Built for where your students are.

Weekly, in-person SEL that runs across the school year, our deepest and most lasting way to grow students' relational and human skills.

A Prismatic student in conversation with a mentor

Our weekly programs are the heart of what we do. It's where the relationships students build, with each other and with trusted adults, drive attendance, classroom engagement, and a real sense of belonging all year long.

Middle school
Young Changemakers
Grades 4–8
Self-awarenessRelational intelligenceConfidenceBelonging

Each week, fourth through eighth graders move through strengths, mission, leadership, and action. This is not a lecture. Every session is highly interactive and built to get students working with each other, so they discover what they are naturally good at, name the values that matter to them, write a personal mission statement, and practice leading and supporting one another.

Along the way they build resilience through everyday stress-management practices: a self-care plan they can actually use, real goals, and the skills to read social media with a clear head. Each student leaves with a personal development plan they made themselves.

High school
IGNITE
Grades 9–12
Relational intelligenceLeadershipCareer readinessAcademic persistence

IGNITE builds the same foundation of strengths, values, mission, and leadership, then points it at what comes next. Every session is highly interactive and built to engage students with one another, so they write a personal mission statement, define how they lead, and practice the communication and relational skills colleges and employers look for. They meet working professionals from a range of careers and get honest guidance on where their strengths and interests could land them, turning a hazy future into a plan they can see.

Everyday practices for managing stress run underneath it all, so resilience becomes a habit they carry forward, and each student finishes with a personal development plan and career goals in hand.

Beyond the classroom · comes with IGNITE
A seat at the table at Cultivate.

Each year, selected IGNITE students attend Cultivate, Prismatic's intergenerational leadership conference, stepping into professional spaces alongside Chicago's top companies and leaders. For many, it's the first time a career like that feels possible for them, not just for someone else.

"The students always ask if Prismatic is coming today. I've seen a big difference in community, and in students working together."
Elyssa, Social Worker, Perspectives IIT

Worried about the budget?

Thanks to our donor community, we offer need-based subsidies and sliding-scale pricing for schools that need them, so cost doesn't have to be the reason your students miss out.

Funding is limited and awarded based on need. We can't promise an amount up front, but we'd love to talk through what's possible for your school.
